Southern sales manager for The Engineering Technology Group

Cliff Gravener has been appointed as Sales Manager, Southern England, by The Engineering Technology Group.

The Engineering Technology Group was created in April this year, and brings together four complementary businesses – Turning Technologies – the sole UK distributor for Nakamura-Tome’s Super High Precision Turning Centres, Chiron the World Class Manufacturer of High Speed Machining Centres, Hyfore a manufacturer of manual pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures and Hyformation, a new business focusing on Kupa flexible manufacturing systems.

Cliff will be working across all of the Group’s business areas and brings a wealth of experience to his new role. After serving his time as an engineering apprentice, Cliff worked in manufacturing before making the move to machine tool sales in 1989. In the past sixteen years he has been involved in all aspects of machining centre and turning centre sales.

Cliff says he was keen to work for the Engineering Technology Group because of its philosophy of giving customers access to the world’s most productive machine tools and providing all the supporting elements they need to take full advantage of them.
